Are you a believer?

Acts 9:32-35 (NKJV) Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda. 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately. 35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

So cool! I hear myself say, “give me some of that, I need some of that”! Imagine the church, Unleashed, going about following in Peter’s footsteps. What would that look like today? What would the community response be like? Well, the thing about the New Covenant is it was signed with the blood of Christ and was purchased for you and I to step into…to be benefactors of. Do you believe this? Do you believe that what we read about, what we learn about in the New Testament was written with you and I in mind? Do you believe? I’m a believer. I figure, if it was written, it was written not only for my knowledge but for my spiritual betterment. It was written not only to encourage me and draw me closer to Christ but to challenge me to believe for the same. Imagine, you walking about your community, loving on people with the tangible love of Christ, offering to pray for people and witnessing God do miracles in them. How is this not cool! Now I hear myself say, “less of me and more of you God for what I read, I need, not for me, but for them”.
