Titus 2:11-14 (NKJV)For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Unleashed to do good works. How would you define those good works? What or who becomes your guide? Who or what becomes your moral standard? Good certainly can be defined very differently from person to person. For the Christian, good works are defined in the scriptures. Our moral standards, are written in stone not sand. Reading the Word of God then does not become and option, going to church, prayer and other Christian Biblical disciplines also become important to our development not only as Christians but as citizens. We have been redeemed from lawless deeds, lets then ask God to help us keep those off of us and to live in such a way that honours and pleases Him.
