Lifted above life’s pain

Psalms 30:1-5 (NKJV)I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me. 2 O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. 3 O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4 Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. 5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Now here’s a great picture of an Unleashed life. You’ve been “lifted up” out of the life you once lived. You’ve been “healed” from whatever ailed you and your “soul”, the core of who you are has been brought back to life – what the scriptures itself calls, “Born Again”.  Where have you been “lifted” out of? For me, it was a life of perpetual decline due to sin being ever present and my inability to stop its work in my life. I was a lost sinner, caught in the web of my making. How did “healing” touch you? Was it physical or emotional? Spiritual healing came to each of us and gloriously changed us but we also received the secondary offshoot of either physical or emotional healing. Mine was emotional. I was a mess and needed bucket loads of emotional healing. Yes my friends, for those of us who are Born Again, we have been forever changed by Christ’s great love and mercy. He saved us and placed our feet upon solid ground, for these and many more reasons we give God thanks.
