Need some of that…Boldness

Acts 4:29-31 (ESV) And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Unleashed people pray with boldness, speak with a fearless boldness and love on others with a passionate boldness. Even those who are timid, become empowered by God almighty with Holy Spirit boldness. And in the day and age we live in, I think we could use a fresh dose of holy boldness. Boldness to stand against those who brashly malign the ways and Word of God. Boldness to stand up for those who have no voice and can’t stand for themselves. Boldness to fearlessly speak the Word and ways of God to a people lost, dying and going to hell. By-the-way, God doesn’t send folk to hell, they choose to go by refusing to accept the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Are there last breath salvations? Why not! The thief on the cross was on his last breath when he accepted Christ. Here’s the thing: people all around us need Christ. They need to experience what you’ve experienced and there is no greater person to tell them about your God experiences than you. Pray for boldness today.
