Scripture states, “Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil”, that means, every work of the devil has been destroyed…every. So then, in the Name of Jesus, I claim that for my life, for every member of my immediate and extended family, for my church, for my friends, for my work colleagues… The works of the devil over all of them has been destroyed. If those works include sickness or disease, then in Jesus Name I claim healing for each of them. Yes, I declare healing over their thought lives, their bodies, their emotions…over every area of their lives. I thank Jesus for the finished work of the cross and rest in the provision found in it.
This is what I believe and confidently declare! (Note: these “I Declare” devotions are meant to be proclaimed out loud, as part of your personal daily devotions)
1 John 3:8 (ESV) Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
Acts 10:38 (ESV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
1 Corinthians 1:18 (ESV) For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Hebrews 12:1-3 (ESV) Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
