Our Life…& Work… Part III

I will not allow negativity to control my life. I choose to look at the bright side, to be a person who sees the good in others, to be a builder of people and an awesome team player. I will guard my lips. My words will bring forth life and will be used to strengthen and encourage those around me. My words will fall in line with God’s words. I refuse to become careless with my words. I will control my tongue and I will not allow my words to rip or tear someone apart. I am known to be a person who whether at work, home or play, guards what I say and how I say it, for I recognize life and death are in the power of the tongue and I choose life.

This is what I believe and confidently declare!

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 16:24 (NIV) Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

Psalms 39:1 (ESV) I said, “I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle.

Proverbs 4:20-22 (ESV) My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.
