Our Life…& Work… Part V

Since I have been delivered from the authority of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God through Christ, I now look at my role at work and in life through the lens of God’s Word. As a result, I choose to take to the high road when faced with challenges and obstacles. Rather than needing to win arguments or get my way and lose relationship along the way…I will in humility put others before me, thus preserving relationships. When my old ways pop up, I will quickly identify it and put it back in its place, for I am now a new creation, created for good works. In Christ, I know how to defeat negativity and will at every turn ensure it does not become a part of my world. And I will continually remind myself that through Christ, I am a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.

This is what I believe and confidently declare!

Colossians 1:13 (ESV) He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

Philippians 2:3 (NIV) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Ephesians 4:22-24 (NKJV) That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
