Hebrews 7:25 (ESV)Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
You can’t get more saved than that – “to the uttermost”. Meaning saved completely; fully saved; nothing more needs to be done. It comes down to either you’re saved or not. Either you gave your life to Christ or you didn’t. When you were Unleashed from your former way of living, from your former life, you were completely Unleashed. It’s not as if you were left shackled to sin and its brothers. Sin was completely broken over you by the awesome sacrifice of Christ our Saviour – “saved to the uttermost”. Not a little saved or only the really bad part of you was the saved, the rest, well…you have work to do. NO! Either you’re saved or not. If Jesus is your Lord and you live to live for Him, if you’ve repented of your sin and attempt to the best of your ability to uphold scripture in your life, then you’re saved completely”. No more fear of losing your salvation or of wondering if you’re saved. You’re saved and now comes the challenge to live it out to those around you. Let’s then do that to the uttermost.
