Day 11 – I’ll take some of that…Miracles…

Romans 15:17-19 (NKJV)
Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God. 18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Signs and wonders as mentioned here is done through the Gift of Working of Miracles. Examples from scripture in the life of Moses would be: the plagues that came upon Egypt; the splitting of the Nile; the manna from heaven…all are the workings of Miracles.

The Gift of Working of Miracles are supernatural interventions by God in ordinary events. They are performed by God for His divine purposes with man simply being the conduit, the vessel God chooses to work through.

The Working of Miracles in Jesus’ life would include: the feeding of the 5000, the dead coming to life, the blind seeing, turning water into wine…to name put a few.

God working through man via His Holy Spirit for His divine purpose. As Born-again New Testament believers those purposes is never to exalt man, to make man look great in the eyes of others, rather they point folk (saved or unsaved) toward the Messiah. As God begins to flow through you in releasing the Gifts of the Spirit, remember it is not for your great name sake, but for His. You know how it helps you? It helps you be a witness for Christ. Think about it. If God through the Spirit flows through you via Working of Miracles, people will want to know and follow the God you serve and before you know it, multitudes will come to faith in Christ. I say…bring it on Holy Spirit…I’ll give away some of that!
