Day 13 – Let’s do some amazing things

Exodus 31:1-5 (NLT) Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!

And this…what we just read…is Old Testament. Under Christ, we now walk in a New and Better Covenant…built on better promises. If back in the day, God through His Holy Spirit anointed folk with special abilities and they did some pretty magnificent things, then how much more now, under this New Covenant of grace, can we walk in The Gifts of the Spirit and do some equally amazing things. Really! What God did in folk back then, He’ll do in you, His church today. We just need to get it. I mean deep down in our gut get it. Do you? Do you believe the Spirit of God desires to have His Gifts flow through you to reach and lost and dying world? Do you believe that by your willingness to give way to the Spirit of God working in and through you, the body of Christ would be blessed? My prayer is you would. You would start seeing the Bible as not just the Word of God, but the Word of God for you.
