Day 5 – Inadequacy…hit the road

Mark 16:15-16 (ESV)
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
John 15:26-27 (ESV)
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.
Many of us are hesitant in sharing our faith. Not that we’re ashamed of our Savior or ungrateful for all He’s done for us, we just feel…inadequate. Well, I got some great news for you, according to the verse in John, the Holy Spirit helps us effectively do what the Father has asked of us. It’s like having Reinhard Bonnke or Billy Graham as our personal aids, but much better. Get this, the very power of heaven is at work on your behalf helping you do what God asked of you. This is The Joy of a Spirit-Filled Life, knowing that anything the Father asks of us, can be accomplished through the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Inadequacy doesn’t become an issue, when we have the Third Person of the Godhead Trinity in our corner. Wow!
