2 Corinthians 13:11-14 (NLT)
Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. 12 Greet each other with Christian love. 13 All of God’s people here send you their greetings. 14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
We must never forget, that the Holy Spirit is a member of the Trinity. And it is through the Trinity, we find the solution to our problems. Paul made this clear throughout his letters to the Corinthians and concludes his writings with one more reminder of this timeless truth. It is through the power of the Spirit that we can even remotely begin to live righteously before Almighty God. It is through the Spirit’s leading we can be reconciled to one another and it is through the Spirit’s encouragement we learn to love one another. The Holy Spirit helps us to recognize our need for God’s grace and realize our dependence upon Christ’s love. And this my friends is what the Joy of a Spirit-Filled Life is all about.
