Day 58 – I desire more…

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NLT)
And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

And Praise and Glorify Him we will! Personally, I am eternally grateful and my heart is filled with unmatched praise to my God who gave me such a precious promise – His very Spirit. Truly, what more could a person ask for, what more could we want. We have the greatest force in the universe living inside of us and I think the church – I think I need a fresh revelation of just who He is. I’ve dug up a dozen or so books from my shelf; I’ve studied for countless hours; I’ve walked through the Scriptures, but it’s not enough…I need more. I want more. My appetite for the Spirit of God is growing larger and larger each day and I desire for a fresh touch from God’s Spirit; I desire a fresh understanding of the power, the presence and the person who is living in me. This church is the Joy of a Spirit-Filled Life and I’m loving it.
