I Declare – My God gives me courage. Courage to stand against any and every enemy I may face. Courage to trust in Him for the victory, for the Lord promised to give me victory wherever I may go. Yes, the Lord, the God of David’s army gives me victory. When the enemy comes in…like a flood, God raises a standard against them. I will not fear my enemies. In fact, I will no longer be governed by fear, for my hope, my trust, my faith is in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For in Him and through Him, I have the victory.

Lord, thank you for the Victory provided for me at the cross, I gratefully receive it by faith.(Note: these “I Declare” devotions are meant to be proclaimed out loud, as part of your personal daily devotions)

2 Samuel 10:12 (ESV) Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the Lord do what seems good to him.”

2 Samuel 8:6 (ESV) Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.

2 Samuel 8:14 (ESV) Then he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.

This is my declaration. This is what I declare!
