I Declare – I am a disciple of Christ and as a result, the authority and power given to a disciple of Christ is mine. The 12 were given power and I have been given power. The 12 were given authority, I was given authority. The 12 cast out demons and cured diseases, I also am a demon buster and disease kicker. What was given to them, was also given to me. The Holy scriptures makes this crystal clear and I choose to believe it. In fact, I expect for this demon kicking power, this disease ridding anointing, to overtake me as I go out declaring the good news of Jesus Christ.

This is what I believe and confidently declare! (Note: these “I Declare” devotions are meant to be proclaimed out loud, as part of your personal daily devotions)

Luke 9:1-6 (ESV) And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. 3 And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. 4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV) Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
