I Declare – that my Lord will help me to have a heart for those who have little. Help me Lord, not to pass judgment, but rather, pass a plate or aid and or assistance to my brother. Help me to remember it is You who has blessed me. Lord, You who have prospered me, not just for my well-being, but for the well-being of those around me. In fact, Lord, your Word makes it clear that You will bless me, richly bless me, if I become willing to give not just a handout, but a hand up to the poor. Thank you, Lord, for making me the lender, not the borrower and for blessing me with more than enough.

Leviticus 23:22 (NIV) “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the Lord your God.”

Deuteronomy 15:1-6 (NIV) At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts.2 This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel the loan he has made to his fellow Israelite. He shall not require payment from his fellow Israelite or brother, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed. 3 You may require payment from a foreigner, but you must cancel any debt your brother owes you. 4 However, there should be no poor among you, for in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you, 5 if only you fully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today. 6 For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

This is my declaration. This is what I declare!
